Yes, it’s that time of year, the Emmy Awards are coming soon and once again our Entourage has been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series amongst others including fellow HBO’ers Flight Of The Conchords, 30 Rock (NBC), Family Guy (FOX), How I Met Your Mother (CBS),The Office (NBC), Weeds (Showtime). It’s third time lucky, so we all have our fingers crossed, you can do it Entourage.
Other nominations include: Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series for the episode “Tree Trippers” (Julian Farino, Director) — one of my personal favorite episodes of the entire series.
Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (Half-Hour) And Animation for the episode “Pie”.
Last but not least, an Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series nomination for Kevin Dillon, as Johnny Fuckin’ Drama… at last! GO KEVIN! GO DRAMA! We all hope he accepts in character, and yells out “VICTORY!”. That would really make our day.
