We’re back!

After a year and one season (season 7) hiatus, I’m back with all things Entourage Season 8. Season 7 was great, although not the best and a bit short, and the break that followed I was lucky enough to encounter a couple of other absolutely fantastic series in Boardwalk Empire by Martin Scorsese, and Game Of Thrones. Both following in same vein as The Wire, highly intellectual, and deeply layered story telling.

After their debut seasons for their respective seasons, I was waiting for Entourage to come back and give us back the totally chillaxed, easy going series that it has mostly been. And it saddens me that this will be the final season, but as they says all good things come to an end. And hopefully as a bonus, we’ll have an Entourage film that should go absolutely nuts!

Over the next couple of hours anticipating the first episode, I’ll try make your mouths water even more…. enjoy the ride!

How To Make It In America

Straight from HBO and the producers of Entourage comes ”How To Make It In America” . The first episode premiered last week with the Entourage Crew — Mark Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson, Rob Weiss and Julian Farino — executive producing. The production quality is high, you can watch the first episode again and again, the sets, the montages and the cinematography is beautiful.

This definitely has the taste of Entourage, and to any Entourage fan, I would highly recommend it — at the very least take it as a filler before Entourage comes back OR until you get sucked in! With the talents of Bryan Greenberg (see One Tree Hill), Victor Rasuk (see Lords Of Dogtown & Che), regular cameo appearances by Kid Cudi, and in episode 1 I have to mention the stunning Samaire Armstrong (ring a bell? She was Emily — Ari’s Assistant and Eric’s Ex!) keep your fingers crossed and maybe she’ll be a regular occurrence — these are just a few amongst other talents. Matt Damon freaks out Again!

Not really again, but it is a funny extended edition of the first version. A behind-the-scenes video of Matt Damon directing Vincent Chase/Adrian Grenier for a onexone.org television commercial. While Ari Gold/Jeremy Piven is watching, Matt Damon freaks out at Adrian Grenier’s acting and an argument ensues:
