Episode 11 ‘Scared Straight’ Review

The penultimate episode of Season 6, Episode 11 ‘Scared Straight’ was the classic Entourage. Ari Gold back to his witty best, being the King of Hollywood. I can say enough about Ari Gold, but what I can say is that he is one mother fuckin’ big part of why we all love this show. If the writers can keep his part up like that, we’ll be seeing Entourage for a lot longer.

This episode oozed Entourage goodness, even the usual vomitus bits were bearable, with Turtle and Jamie-Lynn’s teary eyed semi-break up at LAX. It almost brought a tear to my own eye…….naaaaaaaaah. Eric ‘E’ Murphy mixing it up with Drama’s fling from four months ago was situation that reminded us of what all us men dread, although I don’t think I’ve seen a man more scared than E was from a possible STD, because it’s usually it’s a fuckin’ honor badge when your around other guys. Nice to see popular culture is changin’ that a little. We also got an insight into his E’s sexual history which was such a bonus (sarcasm to the max). But it was all made up for when we see Vincent Chase fuckin’ that beautiful woman (who was she?!) on the inflatable in his pool. God damn, she was hot. That’s why she had to be this review’s photo.

The celebrity cameo’s were huge in this episode, with Superman Dean Cain, Amber Lancaster as Tara (Drama’s old Fling), Scott Caan, Barrett Foa (as Ari’s assistant for 2 whole seconds), Melinda Clarke (the MILF from The O.C), David Faustino (Drama’s buddy before Screen test), William Fichtner, Malcolm McDowell as Terrence, William Forsythe as Ari Gold’s trusted investigator and let’s not forget Doug Ellin – only us Entourage aficionados would’ve spotted him, and damn he was cool for once. That whole Johnny Drama screen test scene was fuckin’ kick ass, Doug Ellin as the ominous director and Dean Cain’s cameo were just what made this episode the classic Entourage.

Other intriguing bits out of this episode: when Vincent announces to the boys that he’s going to be away for four months shooting Enzo – I wonder if that will happen during the break? Let’s hope not. And how about Eric’s renewed interest in Sloan? I think after that I’ll have to post of the results of the “Sloan Vs. Ashley“, as we now know Ashley is dead and buried! It would be a shock if Ashley won. And the winner is:

Sloan: The Winner. A surprise? No.

A hands down landslide by Sloan. I think we all new that before the votes even started. To those 10% of you, can I say bad luck? naaah…you can go follow her on another TV show. Befor you go, you must check out the previous post for sneak peak at the next episode starring Matt Damon here.
Most definitely looking forward to the last episode this season including LeBron James’ cameo! booyah! Let’s get the party started! Also shout out goes J for leavin’ an excitable review, enjoy!.
