I’m not going to say much this time, except for the fact I’ll be more excited for Season 7 than ever before once Episode 12 ‘Give a little bit’ airs. Also here’s a little bit of a spoiler in terms of the storyline for this episode – if you are tempted:

Eric plans on getting back Sloan, as he promised in Episode 12, so he books a special lunch, but it doesn’t go as smoothly as he hoped. Ari Gold tries to convince his wife that buying Terrence’s company TMA is not a personal vendetta. Meanwhile, after repeated attempts to get over Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Turtle decides to make a grand gesture to be with her, but does this mean marriage? And will Jamie-Lynn accept?; Johnny Drama, turns down a chance to re-audition for Melrose 2009, although he does go, he has a few choice words to say to the producers; and Matt Damon, with help from LeBron James, get Vince involved in Matt Damon’s charity onexone.org.

I would have to say, this beats the previous quote by Vince and is definitely my new favorite. An official Entourage ‘Special Edition’ t-shirtm this quote is from Season 1, Episode 6 ‘Busey at the Beach’.

The HBO Store description of the thread: ‘When Adam Davies tells Drama that it might be tough to get him back in the game, Drama, never lacking self-confidence, makes a bold proclamation by saying “I am the fucking game, pal.” Now with a lead role in the hit TV series Five Towns Drama might just be right about that.

TVFodder.com’s Janaki Cedanna has review that’s longer than the script for the entire episode (possibly for people who haven’t watched the episode?!) and he reckons:

…this episode of Entourage is the best one all season.

Now I don’t know about you, but I can’t agree with that at all, for reasons outlined in my own review and above.

Not sure about DaemonsTV review, more of a recap than anything else. Jeremy Singer from andPOP.com has a review that is in total agreement with my own thoughts, as he goes on to say:

…this was a weak episode. Probably the weakest this season.

Jeremy also points out that without Ari Gold’s presence the show loses a lot of elements that make it such an appealing show, I’d even go on to say that even the scene that Ari was in was a bit out of touch, would Ari Gold really be over at Vince’s house because of a possible break-in? Don’t think so. Even Michael at the ‘Entourage the blog’ has gripes about there being not much Ari Gold.

And to round-up the reviews, IGN’s Ahsan Haque rates this episode 9.3 out of 10. What did you rate it?

It took seven episodes for Jeremy Piven to have one scene in an entire episode. I don’t even remember when the last time Ari Gold had such a small part. Wish it wasn’t the way, but it pretty much happens in almost every series. We will welcome another jam-packed Ari Gold episode soon!

Episode 7 ‘No More Drama’

Eric ‘E’ Murphy, looked a bit more cooler this week, without the likes of Ashley and him hanging around his office at the Murphy Group. His new colleague Scotty (played by Scott Caan), was such an annoying fuck, he definitely made E look good. And I loved that, hopefully the rivalry between them will grow as I think we’d all want to see a bare knuckle fight or two between them. Perhaps we will see Scotty start to tune Sloan, or maybe Scotty could hire Seth Green?! Now I’m starting to become one mischievous fuck. Oh and let’s not forget E’s possible assistant, Kate Mara, another beautiful woman on Entourage.

Bob Saget and Murray Berenson (played by George Segal) are two class acts and they seriously stole the show this episode. There are two quotes that reach the ‘best of’ for this episode, one has to go to George’s character Murray saying the following to E as he leaves his office:

“Maybe tomorrow you could go get Christian Bale?
And we could let him execute a cinematographer if he wants.”

Overall, another great fuckin’ episode, I still can’t forget about Bob Saget (and his hot girl! who is she? Katerina Van Derham) and Murray, they were fuckin’ funny.
This episode really did seem a bit short?!
HBO, Doug Ellin and your fellow writers, let’s bring the series to an hour an episode. I think us fans really need it to be that long. It just ain’t enough at the moment. Kudos also goes to Vincent’s housemaid ‘Maria’ played by Paulette Lamori, would be cool if she played a sort of motherly role for Vincent.

(Entourage) needs more naked girls!

Something I think we’d all agree on, let’s get it up to The Sopranos level, and we’ll be almost satisfied.

Here are the spoilers and scoops for those who want to know:
Adrian Grenier reveals “This season for me is all about coasting and relishing being back on top – all girls and smiles for me!” while Kevin Dillon says “(Drama) will do the dumbest thing he’s ever done in his whole career, or in the history of the show. It Just can’t be topped, it’s so dumb”, can’t wait for that one, it will have to be the most cringe worthy moment ever. Also revealed is Jerry Ferrara’s real life relationship with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, which I had no fuckin’ idea about – no wonder the chemistry looks so good on screen.

Peter Stormare is guest starring as Vince’s Security Consultant, you’ll all know him from The Big Lebowski as Karl Hung. He’s one funny lookin’ mutha fucka. Finally, the Entourage could possibly have an episode or a few scenes at The White House? Now that would be unbelievable. President Obama meeting Vincent Chase and his Entourage. Can’t Wait (fingers crossed).

Vincent Chase & E on an ‘extended vacation’
Season 6, Episode 4 ‘Running on E’

This is the first episode directed by Ken Whittingham this season, so whether there was a difference because of him? I don’t know, but it sure was the best this season. With Vincent Chase again taking a bit of a back seat because his Enzo movie being delayed by 12 weeks, an extended vacation ensues. He tries his best to get E, Turtle and Drama to join him, but ends up with no one, albeit for a few hours till Eric decides to pull the plug on his business – The Murphy Group. This was disappointing, but does it really mean the end of E’s Murphy Group? Or just the office it was residing in? It would be a shame for E and Entourage to lose the Charlie storyline, as it was quite cool to have another up-and-coming star in the midst.

Ari Gold was trying to handle a barrage of situations from all sides, it was an Ari juggling act.. under pressure Ari is when he is at his best! Dealing with Andrew Klein was great, but even better was his face off with Andrew’s lover — Lizzie Grant, the junior agent at the Miller Gold Agency (played by Autumn Reeser). Damn girl, she’s one tough women! Is she a future threat to Ari?

The music featured was way fuckin’ cool, especially if you caught the tunes of Daft Punk, and the new crew Empire Of The Sun — Check out their awesome video clip above. Awesome job, music people! Here’s the list:

Vincent Chase going on Facebook and stalkin’ his old classmates (Kimberley Kirsch?!)was classic. E announcing his relationship with Ashley being ‘serious’ was another predictable disappointment. Turtle getting dressed up by Jamie-Lynn was vomitus, but funny at the same time — the usual thing to do when you have a girlfriend. And how about David Schwimmer? Not the dorkus he usually is aye? He was after Lizzie, and that was more of classic Entourage. And how can we miss Johnny Drama’s casting with all those fuckin’ hot models! And when Ed Burns mentions how Drama has 25 takes with one of them, that was incredibly hilarious. There was also a bit of Mrs. Gold in there for good measure. All the ingredients and reasons why we love Entourage and why this episode was so good. We want more! …How did you rate it?

Other nominations include: Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series for the episode “Tree Trippers” (Julian Farino, Director) — one of my personal favorite episodes of the entire series.

Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (Half-Hour) And Animation for the episode “Pie”.

Last but not least, an Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series nomination for Kevin Dillon, as Johnny Fuckin’ Drama… at last! GO KEVIN! GO DRAMA! We all hope he accepts in character, and yells out “VICTORY!”. That would really make our day.
